At ACCORD Language school, Oral communication is a priority: learning to listen, understand, speak and express yourself naturally and appropriately, with fluency and correct pronunciation and intonation.

Objective

Our main aim is to recreate real-life situations where you will be able to put your French to practical use and develop your learning strategies, enabling you to use the communication skills you already have in your native language when speaking French.

Our ultimate goal is to help you reach a level of fluency where you will be able to communicate efficiently and effectively in French. To achieve this you will need both a strong command of the language and an in-depth understanding of French culture.

Our teachers of French language

Our teachers, all University graduates are fully qualified in the teaching of French as a foreign language. They often taught in different foreign countries and are all used to teach students of diverse nationalities. Their qualification and their experience ensure the highest standard of teaching.


Personal attention is given to each student to ensure that the course will be well suited to his/her needs.

Pedagogical documents to learn French

At ACCORD Language School, grammar is taught through language games, simulations, interactive activities, and a variety of communicative exercises adapted to the students needs. There fore, ACCORD does not use any particular handbook in the classroom.

Instead authentic documents are used: audiovisual support such as extracts from movies, TV and radio programs, songs - and also authentic written texts, such as newspaper and magazine articles, professional documents, administrative forms, literature, brochures and leaflets.

French language school teaching Material

The French language school is well-equipped with audiovisual material: Televisions, VCRs, CD player, tape recorder and radio.

Common European Framework

At Accord language school, we follow the Common European Framework of Reference for teaching, assessing and learning French as a foreign language, and we place our students in groups based on the levels defined in this framework.

Certificate

At the end of the course, you will receive a course certificate specifying the number of hours of attendance.

If you so wish, you may also obtain an assessment certificate, which includes a detailed analysis of your competence in the French language.

Specific features

At Accord Language School you will practice all four language skills in an authentic communicative environment.

Listening : using authentic audio-visual materials.

Engaging in a conversation and speaking fluently: using role-plays, debates, excursions, drama (improvisation exercises, which will give you more confidence, and work on pronunciation, use of gesture and fluency)

Reading : analyzing authentic written texts.

Writing : a range of writing activities aimed at achieving communicative goals and improving your knowledge of the language
