LEARNING FRENCH IN FRANCE
TEACHING METHOD
CENTRE INTERNATIONAL D'ANTIBES
Teaching at the Centre International d'Antibes is based
upon: an adaptive teaching method, an experience
in students' life and their needs, and an Excellence
Charter that we are improving year after year.
Objective
Depending on the course chosen and the level of written
and oral communication needs of each student, our staff will
adapt and build a structured and progressive set of French lessons
that are of special interest to the pupil. This style of teaching preparation
allows students to improve their abilities in understanding
and expressing both the colloquial and formal written grammar
of the French language at a rapid rate.
Teachers thereby allow students' learning to progress at their own individual
rate, within a friendly and captivating atmosphere.
Our teachers of French language
The teachers at the Centre International d'Antibes
are highly-experienced, and all specialized
in the teaching of French as a foreign language. All possess
the academic qualifications which are mandatory to ensure the highest
standard of performance in their field.
Many teachers complement their own training experience with a specialty
in another field: management - marketing - sociology - psychology -
technical foreign languages - architecture - ethnology - law...that
broadens their outlook and professionalism as an educator.

Pedagogical documents to learn French
The books used to supplement class lessons are directly
aimed at teaching French as a foreign language. Each student also
receives a grammar book - written and designed by the Centre International
d'Antibes's teaching staff specifically for our students.
Teaching support primarily consists of a range of 'real life' documents,
such as newspaper articles, audio and video tapes, adverts, photographs,
paintings from different periods in history, cartoons, film clips, novels
and French songs.

Languages', by adopting both the educational standards agreed upon by
the Council of Europe and European Commission, and the European Portfolio
- a scheme to promote the study of European languages.
Each student will be in a group set up by level defined by this Common
European Framework.

you will be awarded a “Certificate de Français” or
the diploma corresponding to the examination you have passed (DELF or
